    The Choir master will be almost certainly Mr Dilley. who gathered the boys from the fields in the village, to form a choir.
    He did not last long being succeeded by Hubert White.
    I suspect he went to greater Choral heights.


    My family of Stansfields were resident in Shepherds Thorn lane c1787 to 1837, but not i think at the farm.

    Possibly in the house occupied by the Jagger family today, as it is recorded as Toothill Green. They are recorded as many others are in the Quakers, as non members, but had continuing ties with the Quakers.

    Was Toothill a Quaker enclave ?
