Hannah was the Sunday School Queen for St Matthew’s Methodist Church at the Festival of Queens held at the Victoria Theatre in Halifax. An annual event where money raised for the National Methodist children’s charity was presented. It is likely that Michael was the ‘purse bearer’. Interestingly the family still have the Queen’s cloak at home!
